Okay so here's the deal, Linkin has decided that any food that comes in a jar is a bad idea and refuses to eat it. He has sworn off all baby food. This wouldn't really be an issue, but homeboy has two teeth. That's right! Two tiny, little, baby teeth on the bottom row. I am totally struggling trying to figure out what to feed this kid. He wont even eat apple sauce. He thinks I'm feeding him baby food. I've even tried mixing baby food with stuff to try and trick him, but he figures me out. This little man is smart! I need help! What ideas do you guys have for feeding a baby that has hardly any teeth and refuses baby food or anything that resembles it? I need your input!!!!

Deshawn and Parker were the same way. I finally ended up buying a mini food chopper and whatever we ate I would throw it in that thing and grind it up and they would eat almost everything after that.
I feel your pain! Eva is doing the same thing right now!! It drives me crazy. She sees the spoon and snaps her mouth shut so fast. I have tried tons of things so if u figure something out let me know!!
Hunter finally got two top teeth so I feel like he can finally eat some real food, but before he got those top ones, he was the same way! My mom used use a food processor or blender and just puree the stuff on the dinner table. That seemed to work for her!
I have one of those food grinders, but I haven't used it yet. (http://www.toysrus.com/product/index.jsp?productId=2585711) Porter is still rockn' all gums, so right now it's just pizza crust, toast, and rice snacks that dissolve easily. But my mom SWEARS by it! Also, you can try super steaming veggies like peas and carrots and making mashed potatoes. Also, at Fry's I found these really cool snack feeders too. It looks like a giant ring pop with a netted bag on the end of it where you can put fruit in there and not worry about choking & what not. Thanks guys! I got one of those hand mixer things. What about when I'm out and about? It can't really bring it with me and plug it in. Any tricks of the trade for that too? YOu guys are the best!
haha Babies are so smart! So Brighton only has 2 bottom teeth and I have been giving her pretty much everything we eat! Mashed potatoes, vegetables, fruit, nutri grain bars, tiny pieces of meat, anything soft you can think of! Bread is good, crackers! Even though he only has 2 tiny teeth they still use their gums to chew! If you're out and about just put some crackers and other stuff in a baggie to give to him! I have been giving Brighton pieces of french fries! Cheese is good too! He could eat that! The other day we had hamburgers and I stuck one in my magic bullet and she ate that with us! Since he's 1 I would even make him a grilled cheese sandwich and give him little pieces of that! I just wrote you a book! haha Hope this helps! Just remember he can still use his gums to chew!
Oh pancakes and eggs are good too! haha
Even though Codan has teeth on top and bottom, when I watch him chew he uses his back gums. Just like your friend said. Those gumss can chew just about anything. I just cut it up small for Codan and he eats everything. When your out make a peanut butter and jelly sandwich. Easy to pull a part and feed while out. Or I would make small minutre pancakes and take those out too because they can hold them by themselves. Good Luck!
