Yes, That's my toilet...

Today I thought I had the best idea ever! Linkin woke up and was having a tough morning so I figured it would be great to have a "mommy-Linkin-play day-extravaganza!" I feel like all I ever do is tell Linkin no and rarely get to say yes. Since Doug has been in Boston we have had late nights, early mornings, and sleepless nights. Linkin got immunized and decided to get his i-teeth in while Doug is gone. (I think they are called i-teeth. You know, the vampire teeth! :) This has caused a not too happy boy. I thought a morning home with me would be just what the doctor ordered. It sounded great in theory! I let him eat cookies, drink juice, and have whatever snack he wanted. (usually a "crak-o". His talking is getting cuter and cuter every day!" Than the naughtiness snuck in. He started doing little naughty things here and there, but nothing major. I turned my back for one second, and this happened......
(That is my flip flops, eye shadow, make up sponge, and a water lid. All of which got thrown away!)

After that I said, "get your shoes, we're going to McDonald's! Momma needs a coke!" We went to get me a coke and him some "pench pies" (french fries) and after that he was getting a nap. At McDonald's there is the nicest guy at the pay window. He always says hi to Linkin and asks how he's doing. He is very friendly and way nice. Today he asked how he was doing and instead of my usual, "he's good" I said "he's having kind of a rough morning getting his teeth in." The guy just disappeared around a corner. I sat there waiting, cuz he has my debit card and he came back with a cute little toy for Linkin! He said, "will this make him feel better." How nice is that!!! I said thank you and gave it to Link where we proceeded to go home and get ready for nap time. He played with the toy all the way home! Than he threw it over our staircase, BUT it was still soooo nice of that guy! All in all, our extravaganza was fun, but maybe a little to much time spent inside and not getting Linkin outside to run. Maybe I'll try that next time! ;)
